Threading Inserts Fully Ground with High Quality PVD Coatings, Quality Machine Taps and Thread Milling Cutters

16ER AG60 T250, 60° partial profle external threading Insert in grade T250.

Will cut 0.5-3.0mm pitch and 48-8 TPI.

Proflle of the cutting tip is made to a sharp point so the root of the thread will not be full form. The workpiece should be turned down before threading so that the crest forms a truncated thread to avoid interference with the mating part.

Grade T250 is micro-grain carbide and is our preimium grade for all types of steel including carbon, alloy and hardened steel also good for cast iron and stainless good choice for general use.

Micrograin carbide provides increased wear resistance and improved tool life.

This bronze colour PVD coated grade covers P25, M25, K30, S15, H10 range of materials.
