12mm Shank Diameter, 26mm Flute Length, 83mm Overall Length.

Centre Cutting with Flatted Weldon Shank. These Milling Cutters, End Mills are Made using Quality High Quality High Speed Steel.

Suitable for Aluminium, Brass, Copper Alloys and other Non-ferrous Materials. It is possible to use on Plain Carbon Steel and low Alloy Steel but consider TiAlN Coated Cutters for these Materials.

High Helix 45° Flute with sharp edge providing good chip evacuation and reducing the chances for chip jamming giving an improved surface finish.

Recommended Speeds and Feeds for Slot Milling.
Aluminium & Aluminium Alloys
RPM 5000 Feed 1200 mm/min

For slot milling, if depth of cut is more that 0.5D then reduce the recommended feed rate, start with 75% of the above values then increase to the above values to find the ideal parameters for your setup ideally the max run out should max <0.010mm with the maximum rigidity possible.

If the machine can't make the RPM then try the following Vf=fz*n*z (n=actual RPM of the machine)

RPM 5000 Feed 1500 mm/min
