Our spade drill system is through coolant with a range of inserts which can be used in a series of spade drill insert holders.

We have the following grades of inserts available.

X15A, T15 Powder Metal Super HSS + TiAlN Coated Works well for free machining, plain carbon, low alloy, structural steel, cast iron and copper alloys. Also suitable for high strength materials and nickel alloy.

X25A, M48 Powder Metal Premium HSS + TiAlN Coated Excellent for all types of steel, tool steel etc. Suitable for cast iron, stainless, high strength materials and high nickel alloy

X25H, M48 Powder Metal Premium HSS + Premium Hard Coating, these are our best performing inserts. Excellent for all types of steel, tool steel etc. Suitable for cast iron, stainless, high strength materials, high nickel alloy, high temperature alloys.
