First class replacement for more expensive brand
26 October 2017  |  Marcus

Tried these instead of my regular brand, and saved a lot. Results were just the same, with a superb finish on aluminium, and a great result turning Acetal and Delrin too. Very pleased.

Very good price-qality ratio
11 November 2015  |  Kalju

Leaves very nice surface finish even with dry machining of aluminium. Also perfect for machining plastics. It is possible to remove 0,01mm layer when machining plastics (DELRIN)

ccgt 060204 inserts

We carry out line boring with a Sir Mecannica WS1.Its a tricky operation at best .Could not get the inserts from normal supplier. Also original ones were expensive, these were cheaper so I had my doubts they were up to the job. They were fantastic! Uninterrupted cuts & hard spots in the bore. Just bored out a JCB robot only used 1 insert! A good finish (see west knighton engineering on face book)

Very sharp and very tough
17 February 2014  |  Steffen

I am now using these very sharp inserts instead of the usual allround inserts for black and inox - all the time. There is no minimum chip size when turning with these inserts! And at the same time I often turn up to 5mm. chips - yes also inox...
Lastly the non existing chip turning pressure minimizes vibrations and the energy required to turn the chips:]

Very good!
01 February 2014  |  Nikolajs

Very good inserts. Cuts aluminium like butter and leave fantastic finish. Also works very well on "gummy" hard to machine materials like 5252 aluminium and mild steel. Doesn't require high RPM and agressive feed.

Great Ally insert
21 March 2013  |  John

A superb insert for light aluminium finishing, but can also take some LIGHT work in steel if you are pressed. Razor sharp.
