This boring bar exceeded my expectations. As I understand it, as a rule of thumb the maximum boring length is 5x bar diameter. In this case 5 x 10mm = 50mm. I took a gamble and used it to bore a cylinder 75mm long, and runout was only 2 thou throughout it's length. Definitely good value for money.
