TSSNR 2020 K12-APT Turning Tool 20x20mm shank 25mm qualified width 125mm long right hand uses SNMG 1204 Inserts.

45° Turning and chamfering using SNMG 1204-- inserts.

The qualified width is the distance from the back of the tool to the cutting tip of the insert.

These tools are used for turning and profiling using SNMG inserts providing a strong negative rake and are suitalbe finishing to roughing applications with low cost per edge.

T Top clamp tools have a spring loaded top clamp which pulls the insert in to the pocket when tightened, the seat is held firmly with a centre screw.

This type of clamping mechanism is very secure with high accuracy indexing, made from high quality tool steel.
