6mm Shank Diameter, 8mm Flute Length, 52mm Overall Length.

Centre Cutting with Flatted Weldon Shank. These Milling Cutters, End Mills are Made using High Quality High Speed Steel with TiAlN Coating.

Suitable for Carbon, Alloy and Tool Steel up to 40HRC. Can also be used on Aluminium and Copper Alloys but consider un-coated cutters for non-ferrous materials.

Recommended Speeds and Feeds for Slot Milling.
Plain Carbon Steel <500N/mm2 Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel 20HRC <800N/mm2 Alloy Steel, Tool Steel 30HRC <1000N/mm2 Alloy Steel, Tool Steel 40HRC <1300N/mm2 Aluminium & Aluminium Alloys
RPM 4900 Feed 70 mm/min RPM 4500 Feed 50 mm/min RPM 3500 Feed 35 mm/min RPM 2200 Feed 20 mm/min RPM 15400 Feed 240 mm/min

For slot milling, if depth of cut is more that 0.5D then reduce the recommended feed rate, start with 75% of the above values then increase to the above values to find the ideal parameters for your setup ideally the max run out should max <0.010mm with the maximum rigidity possible.

If the machine can't make the RPM then try the following Vf=fz*n*z (n=actual RPM of the machine)
